Collecting Every Eevee Card

Even though I've been collecting Pokémon cards for over eight years, I only decided on a favorite Pokémon in recent years. I don't really know why, but Eevee became my favorite.
One day, I was thinking as one does, and I felt I needed a goal for my Pokémon card collection. At this point, I had just been collecting and collecting, amassing over four thousand cards, but I didn't really feel great about it. I decided I wanted to focus more on collecting the cards I truly liked, instead of just collecting cards. Shortly after, I set a goal to collect every Eevee card. Every language of every variant of every card that had "Eevee" in the name, I would try to collect. Now, that is a very big goal, so I am starting with just English.
In a binder, I put a piece of paper with each card's name, number, and variant. Later, however, I found I had missed some that weren't originally in the list I was following, causing me to rearrange the binder multiple times. Slowly, the binder started filling up, and at the time of writing this, I have 67 of 175 unique English Eevee cards. Along the way, I have also collected various Japanese, Chinese, and even Korean Eevee cards. I also managed to pick up my favorite Eevee card (#173 from SVP) graded in a PSA 10.
Some of the Eevee cards I already had from packs I had opened, but most were bought later. I have gone to many card shops from New York all the way down to Florida where I've been able to find many Eevee cards. I've also been to three card shows at this point, where I have been most successful at finding the more common cards. Most vendors only have a few Eevee cards, but some have many, and it's always exciting to find 10 new cards to add to my Eevee binder. Even though I could just buy every card online, it's much more fun to travel around to different places and get cards from different people.
As I keep collecting Eevee cards, you can view my current progress here.
